The wait is almost over.
Following months, even years, of speculation on who will make Canada's 2014 Olympic men's hockey team, executive director Steve Yzerman and his staff will reveal their 25-player roster for the Sochi Winter Games on Tuesday at 11 a.m. ET in Toronto.

The squad of NHL players named to Team Canada on Tuesday will seek to defend the gold medal won at the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver, where Sidney Crosby scored the winning goal in overtime of the title game against the United States.
Crosby is considered a lock to make the Sochi team, along with fellow returning forwards Jonathan Toews, Patrice Bergeron and Corey Perry, among others. High-scoring Tampa Bay Lightning forward Steven Stamkos was a shoo-in until breaking his leg in October, and is still a good bet to make the Canadian team as he continues his recovery from injury.
On defence, Drew Doughty, Duncan Keith and Shea Weber are among those almost certain to be back.
The goaltending position appears more fluid, with 2010 gold-medal game winner Roberto Luongo hoping to return and the Montreal Canadiens' Carey Price looking to make his first Olympic team.
In Sochi, Canada will be slotted in Group B along with Austria, Norway and Finland.
Canada's first game is on Feb. 13 against Norway. The Canadians then play Austria on Feb. 14, followed by their group-stage finale against Finland on Feb. 16. Each game begins at 9 p.m. Sochi time (noon ET).
The quarter-finals are scheduled for Feb. 19, with the semifinals on Feb. 21 and the gold-medal game on Feb. 23.
