Halifax police arrested a man and recovered a firearm on a city bus this morning as they continue to investigate a report of a gunman in the downtown core.
Police received a call about a white man wearing black cargo pants and an ear piece, concealing what was reported to be a rifle wrapped in black cloth at 8:36 a.m.
They arrested someone on Argyle Street just after 11 a.m.
