Murder-suicide suspected after woman, child found dead

A murder-suicide is suspected after a mother and daughter were found dead inside their Brockville, Ont., apartment on Thursday.

Brockville Police Chief Scott Fraser told CBC News that officers were called to check on the well-being of residents in the apartment on Thursday. They found an adult and a child dead.

The cause of death has not been released, nor have police 't released the names of the dead.

The coroner's office is helping police with the investigation.
