Al-Jazeera journalist Peter Greste, imprisoned in Egypt 400 days ago on charges that included aiding the Muslim Brotherhood, will be deported to his native Australia on Sunday, Egypt's state news agency reported.

Two security officials confirmed that an order had been given for Greste's release.

There has been no clear indication that Egypt will also free his two Al-Jazeera colleagues — Egyptian-Canadian Mohamed Fahmy and Egyptian Baher Mohamed.

However, ABC News is quoting an official with Egypt's interior ministry as saying Fahmy's deportation's "will follow." ABC had no information on the fate of Baher Mohamed.

The trio was jailed in a case that has provoked an international outcry.
